The Pillager Area Family Center has been serving the Pillager community since 1992. Cass County received grant funding to start a Family Center in each school district. Pillager was the first because it was the furthest from the count seat in Walker. Programming has changed over the years as community needs have been considered. Current programs are the area Food Shelf, Cass County services such as WIC clinics and Child and Teen Check up clinics, information and referral to area resources, Little Huskies Learning Center for three year olds, Fun Stop for elementary school age children, and Healthy Families America home visiting program. The pickleball courts in Pillager are a big hit! They are being used by community members and others often. They are located at the Pillager Fair Grounds. The Pillager Area Community Alliance group collaborated with area organizations, businesses and individuals to help get these courts in our community.
